<br />NOTICE OF HEARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT
<br />Notice is hereby given that the following Pavement Improvement has been completed and the general
<br />character of the improvement, the street, alley or public place on which it has been made, and the termina
<br />points thereof, are as follows:
<br />Class "C" Type 3 Bituminous Pavement of Fremont Street from the North property line of Elwood
<br />Avenue to the South property line of Keller Street.
<br />There is on file in the Office of the City Controller of the City of South Bend, Indiana an assess-
<br />ment roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with the amount
<br />of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the Office of said City Controller.
<br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the Office of the Board in said City, will on
<br />the 9th day of July, 1956, at 10:00 A.M. (DST) receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed
<br />against their property respectively, on said roll and will determine the question as to whether such lots
<br />or tracts of land have been or will be benefited by said improvement to the amounts named on said roll, or
<br />is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum At which place and time all owners of such
<br />real estate may attend in person or by representative and be heard.

<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL ESTIMATE
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that th
<br />final Estimate and Primary Assessment Roll submitted to the Board by the City Civil Engineer or his duly
<br />authorized representative on this 25th day of June, 1956, on the improvement known as the Fremont Street
<br />Pavement (Elwood Avenue to Keller Street) as described in Improvement Resolution No. 2816, 1955, passed by
<br />the Board of Public Works and Safety on September 6, 1955, and confirmed by said Board on October 10, 1955
<br />be and the same is hereby adopted, and the Clerk of this Board is hereby requested to give notice of the
<br />hearing of Special Benefits on said Improvement, as required by Section N. 111 or 120 of an Act entitled,
<br />"An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations" approved March 6, 1905.

<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION CONFIRMED
<br />For the improvement of Sibley Avenue fro.n the .;est line of College Street to the East line of Brook'.
<br />field Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2836, 1956, adopted May 21, 1956 by constructing a Class "C"'
<br />pavement (Type 1 to 4).
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the premises and the
<br />Clerk of the Board having shown proofs of publication of the notices to property owners and the same havin'
<br />been found sufficient, the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said
<br />improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Iml
<br />provement Resolution No. 2836, 1956, duly passed by this Board on May 21, 1956, for the above improvement,1
<br />be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed.
<br />First Confirmation June 12, 1956 and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made. j

<br />FINAL CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2836
<br />For the improvement of Sibley Avenue from the West property line of College Street to the East pro
<br />erty line of Brookfield Street by constructing a Class "C" pavement (types 1 to 4) under Improvement Reso
<br />lution No. 2836, 1956, adopted May 21, 1956 and first confirmed on June 12, 1956.
<br />No written remonstrances against said improvement bearing the signatures of fifty-one (51%) per ce
<br />or more of the resident property owners on said street to be improved, having been filed withing the ten
<br />(10) day period following the date and time of the hearing on said improvement, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that
<br />Improvement Resolution no. 2836, 1956, duly adopted by this Board on May 21, 1956, and first confirmed on
<br />June 12, 1956, be and the same is in all things finally confirmed and the improvement is hereby ordered
<br />made.
