<br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2830, 1956
<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award ofl
<br />damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of the Alley Northwest o
<br />Pardovash Avenue from Marquette Avenue to the Northeasterly line of the alley West of Mar'
<br />quette Avenue and from the Northwesterly line of the alley West of Marquette Avenue to North
<br />Shore Drive, under Vacation Resolution No. 2830. I
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strances were.filed. The Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices
<br />land same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots ha
<br />lbeen benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, de-
<br />i �cides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things rati-
<br />,�fied, confirmed, and approved without modification and the proceedings closed, and the
<br />jalley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from the various propert
<br />owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference to said vacation are hereby
<br />sustained.

<br />;Plaza Addition to a point at the Southwest corner of Lot No. 22, thence South fourteen fe
<br />to the point of beginning; said alley extending from Sheridan Avenue East to Chicago St.
<br />;under Vacation Resolution No. 2825.

<br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND -SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IND
<br />that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estimates approve
<br />by this Board on the 12th day of March, 1956, for the improvement of 29th Street from the
<br />South property line of Pleasant Street to the North property line of North property line
<br />of Northside Boulevard by constructing a Class "C" pavement and roll type cement concrete
<br />curbs be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the
<br />Department of Public Works and Safety.
<br />April 30, 1956, at the hour of 10:00 A.M. (DST) is hereby fixed as the time and the
<br />office of the Board of Public Works and Safety. in the City Hall of this City, as the P1ac
<br />when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids for the a
<br />bove named improvements, provided all bids for the construction of said work shall be fil
<br />in the Office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 A.r;7. (DST) of said day. Each bidde
<br />for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check, cashierts check in the sum of
<br />Five (5) per cent of the amount of his bid, to insure the execution of this contract, if
<br />said work is awarded to him.

<br />The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two (2) weekly publications
<br />of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered for the
<br />construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bidder shall
