Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the award of <br />!damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of Johnson Street <br />from the North line of Washington Avenue to the South line of Orange Street, under Vaca- <br />tion Resolution No. 2828. Officer Knepper counted only 23 vehicles from 9 p.m. to 9:50 P.M. <br />MARCH7, 1956 <br />i' Day Officer Kwasneske, traffic very light, no sPeeders on Altgeld. Night officers;;' <br />jKnepper, Klimczak, no violations, one offense, 35 in 30, warning to Sylvia Kercher, 4 W! <br />!Madison, City. Officer Gloyeske, W. Ewing Assignment. Reports that in regard to speeding', <br />,the street in bad condition, and almost impossible to speed in this area, issued one ticket <br />ifor truck on Blvd. <br />MARCH 8, 1956 <br />No violations, traffic very light, all people in Altgeld area who approached officers <br />,knew of their surveliance, and stated that they hoped ed we could keep it up. <br />MARCH 9 and 10, 1956 <br />I Day and also night officers report that traffic,. -was very light, no violations, End;, <br />!of Report. <br />The report with reference to the bad congestions of traffic and the condition of tYle <br />'outh Shore Railroad tracks at LaSalle and L.W.W. which was referred to Traffic* Engineer;; <br />,rnest H.
