4 5) 1 <br />• <br />J <br />0 <br />C: <br />ORDER TO ENGINEER FOR PRELIMINARY PLANS <br />RESOLUTION', NO. 2831 <br />According to the recommendation of the City Civil Engineer concerning the pe <br />ition of Dean Barnes and 21 others for the improvement of 29th Street from the South Lin <br />of Pleasant Street to the North line of Northside Blvd., you are hereby directed to pre- <br />pare plans, Drawings, Profiles, General Details, Specifications, Estimates and the Preli <br />inary Improvement Resolution for improving such part of said streets by constructing a <br />Class "C" pavement (Types 1 to 4 inclusive) and cement concrete curbs. <br />R. Cole & Son, Civil Engineers, reported to the Board, Profiles, Draw- <br />ings, Plans, General Details, Specifications, Estimates, and Preliminary Improvement Res; <br />olution No. 2829 for the improvement of Woodlawn Blvd. (Lots 373, 374, and 375 only) frc <br />the existing manhole at Lot #372 to Inglewood Place by constructing a local combined sewe�p. <br />The Board approved the reports and passed Improvement Resolution No. 2829, <br />authorizing these improvements and the 26th day of March, 1956 at the hour of 10:00 A.M. <br />as the time, and the office of the Board in said City as the place, when and where all <br />persons whose property may be affected by such proposed improvement, may be heard, and <br />all petitions and remonstrances, received and the Board will, on said day, decide whethe <br />the benefits accruing to abutting and adjacent property, and to the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of said improvements. The Clerk <br />of the Board is hereby ordreed to give notice by two weekly publications, of the time an <br />place of hearing of this resolution, adopted on this 5th day of March, 1956 and to be pu <br />lished on the 9th day of March and the 16th day of March, 1956 <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad <br />journed at 10:40 A.M.
