Frisk, for investigation <br />;and advice. <br />{ <br />The Board then examined and signed contract with the Rieth-Riley Construction <br />Inc., for the <br />jCompany, resurfacing of Ewing Avenue, from Michigan Street to Franklin I <br />I Street . <br />The Board next examined and signed contract with McIntyre & Jones, for the con- <br />struetion of new concrete curb and the widening of the base four feet with Portland <br />1eement concrete six inches in depth, on Olive Street, from Western Avenue to Washington d� <br />!Avenue. i <br />. <br />Recommendation for the vacation of the first alley west of Klley Street, from <br />Colfax Avenue to the first alley south of Colfax Avenue, was received from the City <br />Planning Commission with the stipulation that all easements be retained. The Board <br />referred this to the City Engineer for further investigation. <br />Recommendation for the vacation of the 14 foot wide and 126.6 feet deep alley � <br />located between Lots Nos. 207 and 208 of the Third Plat of Northwest Addition to the <br />City of South Bend, was received from the City Planning Commission with the stipulation <br />that all easements be retained. The Board referred this to the City Engineer for <br />further investigation. ;� <br />
