331 <br />SPECIAL TWEETING { <br />j September 14, 1955 <br />i <br />A Special Meeting,of the Board of Public Works was held in accordance with legal <br />jnotice of hearing on Wednesday evening, September 14, 1955, at 6-30 P.M. C.S.T., <br />jrelative to improvement by sewers in Bercliffe Estates Addition, under Resolution <br />No. 2814. Members of the Board present were Mr.-R. S. Andrysiak and Mr. I. A. Hurwich. <br />Meeting was opened by Chairman of the Board, R. S. Andrysiak, by introduction of <br />• Board member, I. A. Hurwich, and Mr. Lud A. Emelity, representing Chas. W. Cole & Sons, <br />Inc., Civil Engineers. <br />0 <br />• <br />0 <br />• <br />The chairman then proceeded to explain in detail the ten-year Barrett Law finan- <br />cing procedure and the procedure of petitioning for and remonstrating against public <br />improvements, which time for remonstrating will expire September 2L_, 1955. Following <br />which announcement was made of the front foot estimated cost, pointing out to the <br />assembled home -owners that this estimate represents maximum cost and that competitive <br />bidding will, in all probability, lower the figure quoted. <br />The chairman then opened the meeting for informal discussion and examination of <br />blueprints. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, hearing'*as continued <br />to a later date. <br />Attest: <br />Clerk <br />September 19, 1955 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, September 19, 1955" <br />at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting and <br />also special meetings were read and approved. Salary claims, in the total amount of <br />35,310.72, were approved.
