• • • • BE IT RESOLVED, BY the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Indiana, that Improvement Resolution Noo. 2775, 2778, 2779, 2782, 2783, and passed by this Board on June 1L, 1954, for the above improvements be and the hereby ordered to be made. Crothers Clerk of the Board PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED South Bend, 2784, duly same are BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the` -City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans and General Details, Specifications and Estimates approved by this Board on the 14th day of June 1954, for the improvement 'of SOUTH LAKE STREET, from the center line of the alley north of Jefferson Street to the center line of the alley north of Western Avenue by constructing a local sewer, under Improvement Resolution No. 2775 AND For the improvement of NORTH IOWA STREET,under Improvement Resolution No. 2778, from the center line of Ardmore Trail to the center line of Locke Street, by constructi� a local sewer AND '! For the improvement of GERTRUDE STREET, from 233 feet south of Prairie Avenue to the center line of lot 31 in Sumption Prairie Addition, by constructing a local sewer under Improvement Resolution No. 2779 AND For the improvement of ALLEY BETWEEN COLLEGE STREET AND BROOKFIELD STREET, from the north line of Humboldt Street to the south line of first alley north, by 491 a Class "C", Type 1, Cement Concrete Pavement, under Improvement Resolution No. 2782 AND For the improvement of ALLEY BETWEEN COTTAGE GROVE AVENUE AND CUSHING STREET, from the north line of Van Buren Street to the east line of Cottage Grove Avenue, by con- structing a Class "C", Type 1, Cement Concrete Pavement, under Improvement Resolution No. 2783 AND For the improvement of TEE ALLEY BETWEEN PORTAGE AVENUE AND ASHLAND AVENUE, from the South line of Portage Court to the west line of Leland Avenue, by constructing a Class "C", Type 1, Cement Concrete Pavement, under Improvement Resolution No. 278L�, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the Department of Public Yorks and Safety. July 26, 1954, at the hour of 10:00 A. C.S.T. is hereby fixed as the time and the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as the place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids for the above named improvements, provided all bids for the constructinn of said work shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 otclock A.Pd:. G.S.T. of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a -certified check, payable to the Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half percent of the amount of his bid, or a bid bond for two and one-half percent of the amount of his bid, to insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him. The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered, of the time and place, when and where bids will - the contruction of said work. Said Clerk shall shall enclose with his bid a certified check or insure the execution of this contract. Ward H.
