76 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />�) Resolution for the improvement of ELLSWORTH PLACE, from the center line of lots 27 and <br />70 in Jefferson Heights Addition to a point 26 feet south of the south line of Colfax <br />Avenue by constructing a local sewer. <br />The Board approved the report and passed Improvement Resolution No. 2763- 1953, <br />authorizing this public improvement, and the 9th day of November 1953, at the hour <br />of 10:00 A. M. Central Standard Time, is hereby fixed as the time, and the office of <br />The Board in said City as the place, when and where all persons whose property may be <br />affected by such proposed improvement, may be heard as to the necessity for the same, <br />and all petitions and remonstrances received and the Board will, on said day, decide <br />whether the benefits accruing to abutting and adjacent property, and to the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of` said improvement. <br />The Clerk of the Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications, of <br />the time and place of hearing of the Improvement Resolution No. 2763, to be published <br />October 16th and October 23rd. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2764 - 1953 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />that it is desirable to vacate the following: <br />KALEY STREET FROM THE NORTH LINE OF KENWOOD <br />AVENUE TO THE SOUTH LINE OF BERTRAND STREET <br />AND <br />THE ALLEY NORTH OF KENWOOD AVENUE FROM KALEY <br />STREET TO THE WEST LINE OF THE ALLEY EAST OF <br />KALEY STREET. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such <br />vacation: <br />Lots Numbered 121 to 128 inclusive, Part of <br />Kaley+s Second Subdivision and Lots Numbered <br />81 to 88 inclusive, Kaley's First Subdivision. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 16th day of October and on <br />the 23rd day of October 1953, in the South Bend Tribune and Tri-County News. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 2nd day of November 1953, at <br />11:00 A.
