<br />Boulevard to the west line of Notre Dame Avenue'by constructing a Class "C" pavement
<br />under improvement Resolution No. 2747, 1953, adopted February 24, 1953.and_first con-
<br />firmed on March 23, 1953•
<br />A written remonstrances against said improvement bearing the signatures of fifty-
<br />one per cent or more of the resident property owners on said street, who may be liable j•
<br />for assessment for said improvement, having been filed with said Board within the ten
<br />day period following date and time of the hearing on said improvement, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South
<br />Bend,`Indianap that Improvement Resolution No. 2747, 1953, duly adopted by this Board
<br />on February 24, 1953, and first confirmed on March 23, 1953, be and the same is in all
<br />things rescinded and the improvement is hereby ordered not made.

<br />north line of Vassar Avenue to the south line of Humboldt Street by constructing a `
<br />Class "C" pavement under improvement Resolution No. 2748, 1953, adopted February 24,
<br />1953 and first confirmed on March 23, 1953• .

<br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2745
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and
<br />Estimates approved by this Board on the 24th day of February, 1953, for the improvement
<br />of NORTH HUEY STREET from 30 feet south of the south line of Hamilton Street to 264 feet
<br />isouth
<br />of the south line of Hamilton Street by constructing a local sewer, be and the sam
<br />are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the Department of Public
<br />Works and Safety.

<br />April 20, 1953, at the hour of 11:00 otclock A.M. Central Standard Time, is
<br />hereby fixed as the time and the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the
<br />City Hall of this City, as the place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safe
<br />will open and consider bids for the above named improvements, provided all bids for the
<br />construction of said work shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before
<br />11400 A. M. of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certi-
<br />fied check, payable to the Treasurer of this City in the sum of two -and one-half per
<br />cent of the amount of his bid, or a bid bond for two and one-half per cent of the amoun
<br />i.

<br />of his bid, to insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered, to give notice by two weekly publi-
<br />cations of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and con-
<br />sidered by the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that
<br />each bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for above name
<br />amount, to insure the execution of this contract.
