Next appeared before the Board, Mr. Harry Kubiak, 430 Corby Street, with the • 1complaint that dust from Street Department operations at 714 Niles Avenue, is again �I causing his family considerable distress. The Board advised Mr-. Kubiak of the,'.fact ;f1that the City is contemplating installation of a dust -arrester and that some type of action will be forthcoming within the Cityis budgetary limits. Matters referred to the Board by the Common Council, under date of March 13th, were next examined and the following matter was referred by the Board to Traffic Engineer, E. H. Miller for investigation and prompt report, i.e. "Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Board of Public Works contact the officials "of the railroad relative to installing flasher signals at the crossings in the 1400-1500 blocks of South Kendall, Chapin Street and Catalpa Avenue. Council Pinter seconded the motion. Motion carried." _ The matter of a further motion by Councilman Muszynski, concerning cars being • parked on the sidewalk on Franklin Street, from Garst Street to Broadway, was referred by the Board to Chief of Police, Richard J. Gillen, for the required police action. e
