515 <br />Vacation Resolution No. 2737-1952 <br />The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no <br />remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the <br />Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be <br />finally adopted and the said street be vacated. The Engineering Department is directed <br />to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the award of <br />damages to the surrounding properties. <br />• ; R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards <br />of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of vacation of Carroll Street <br />from the south line of Farneman Avenue, thence southerly along said Carroll Street, <br />a distance of 81.6 feet more or less, being the termination of said Carroll Street in <br />said locality, under Resolution No. 2737. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in <br />the City Hall at 11:00 A. M. on the 17th day of November, 1952 for the purpose of <br />hearing and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by <br />said vacation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with <br />I the amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners <br />j'by publishing same on the 24th day of October, on the 31st day of October and on the <br />j 7th day of November, 1952, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2740 - 1952 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />That it is desirable to vacate the following: <br />THE WEST 30 FEET OF ERNSBERGER STREET FROM <br />THE ST. JOSEPH RIVER SOUTH TO A POINT WHERE <br />SUCH FORMER STREET INTERSECTS IRONWOOD DRIVE. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such <br />I <br />vacation: <br />Unplatted land otrmed by Playland Park, Inc. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 24th day of October and on <br />the 31st day of October, 1952 in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the loth day of November, 1952, at <br />11:00 A.
