<br />Tn.the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in the
<br />City Hall at 11:00 A. M. on the 25th day of February for the purpose of hearing and
<br />receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation, and
<br />the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount of damage
<br />awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing same on
<br />thel5:th day of February and on the 21st day of February, 1952, in the South Bend Daily
<br />Tribune and the Tri-County News.
<br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2700 - 1952
<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award
<br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of Bowman' Street
<br />from'the West line of Main Street to the East line of the North and South Alley West of
<br />Main Street, under vacation resolution No. 2700.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re-
<br />monstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notice
<br />and same were found sufficient, and the Board,therefore, finds that the several lots
<br />and parcels of land have been benefited and damages in the amounts shown on said roll.
<br />The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and declares
<br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the
<br />proceedings closed, and the street vacated uppn receipt of the amount of benefit assess-
<br />ments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with
<br />reference to said street vacation are hereby sustained.
<br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2698 - 1952
<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award
<br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of the alley East
<br />of St. Peter Street from the South line of the First alley South of Wayne Street to the
<br />North line of the Grand Trunk Railroad right-of-way under vacation resolution No. 2698.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of
<br />notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the
<br />several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown
<br />on said roll. The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment
<br />roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modifi-

<br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of West Colfax Avenue
<br />from Brookfield Street to Johnson Street under vacation resolution No. 2697.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of
<br />notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several
<br />lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said
<br />roll. The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and
<br />declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and
<br />the proceedings closed, and the street vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit
<br />assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had
<br />with reference to said street vacation are hereby sustained.
<br />Vacation Resolution No. 2699
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted
<br />by the Board of Public Works for the vacation of West Victoria Street from IVLichigan
<br />Street West to the East Line of the North and South Alley, excepting the 20 feet in the
<br />center, which is to be reserved for an alley, under resolution No. 2699.
<br />The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no
<br />remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the
<br />Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be
<br />finally adopted and the said street be vacated. The Engineering Department is directed
<br />to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the award of
<br />damages to the sourrounding properties.
<br />R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards
<br />of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of West
<br />Victoria Street from Michigan Street West to the East line of the North and South
<br />Alley, excepting the 20 feet in the center, which is to be reserved for an alley,
<br />under vacation resolution No. 2699.
