691 • 9 • After the examining and reading of the bids, the Board ordered that all bids be taken under advisement for further study. Meeting then recessed at 12:00 Noon to reconvene at 2:00 P. M. 1 The Petition for the vacating of a portion of Iroquois Street North of Angela ;Avenue, submitted by Joseph and Louise White, and Harold and Marcella Higgins, under ;date of January 21, 1952, which had been previously referred to the City Planning 11Commission by the Board, was returned to the Board with their approval, subject to `appropriate easements for utility lines. No action was taken on the vacation, except !'that the Clerk was directed to inform the public utilities concerned that the Board ;favors the vacation and will take action approving such vacation at a subsequent (meeting, affording them an opportunity to secure the necessary easements. i Petition of Frank and Helen Magrames to vacate the following alley was approved by the Board - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2710 - 1952 (1809) (RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it is desirable to vacate the following: ALLEY LYING BETWEEN LOTS 317 and 264 in SECOND PLAT OF LASALLE j PARK, WHICH ALLEY EXTENDS NORTH FROM THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF WESTERN AVENUE TO THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE FIRST EAST -WEST ALLEY NOTH OF SAID WESTERN AVENUE. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots numbered 317 and 264, Second Plat of LaSalle Park. Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 15th day of February and the 21st day of February, 1952, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the Tri-County News. This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 25th day of February, 1952 at 11:00 A. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings.
