<br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, hereby cer

<br />That there is a contract., dated July 9, 1951, by and between the City of South Bend
<br />Indiana, and the Reed Construction Company, Mishawaka, Indiana, for the contruction by s
<br />said Reed Construction Company of a Class "C" - Gemerrnt.Concrete Pavement on WELLINGTON
<br />STREET From the north line of Western Ave., to the south line of Linden Ave., and that
<br />the final amount of the contract is $25,950.00.
<br />That said Reed Construction has completed the construction of said improvement aeco
<br />ing to the terms of said contract and that eighty-five (85) per cent of the final amount
<br />of said contract is $22,057.50. That said Contractors will be entitled to receive the
<br />said eighty-five (85) per cent or 22,057.50, either in cash or street improvement bonds
<br />to be hereinafter collected or issued by the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the manner
<br />provided by law. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City

<br />and 2667-1951, WELLINGTON STREET PAVEMENT.
<br />That he is familiar with and personally knows the requirements of the plans and spe
<br />cifsications of said improvement resollutions and further knows that the said Reed Cons-
<br />truction Company in the performance of said work complied with all the terms and condi-
<br />tions of said plans and spe cifieations in every particular, and that the material used
<br />was of the character, kind, quantity and quality required therein and according to and
<br />under the direction of the Board of Public Works and Safety.
