<br />Notice is hereby given by the Board of Public Works and Safety oft he City of South;
<br />Send, Indiana, that it is deemed necessary to make the following described public improve'-
<br />ments in the City of South Bend, Indiana, authorized by the following numbered Improvement
<br />Resolutions, passed by said Board on the 9th day of April, 1951. ';`
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2661, 1951, for the improvement of ALLEY BETWEEN ALTGELD STR
<br />AND VICTORIA STREET from the east line of Fellows Street to the west line of Alley west
<br />of Erskine Blvd., AND
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2662, 1951, for the improvement of HIGH STREET from the north
<br />line of Donmoyer Avenue to the south line of Woodside Street, AND
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2663, 1951, for the improvement of EDISON STREET from the sou
<br />line of Ford Street to the north line of Sample Street, AND
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2668, 1951, for the improvement of EAST DAYTON STREET from
<br />east line of Vernon Street to the west lire of Twyckenham Drive, AND
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2669, 1951, for the improvement of LOMBARDY DRIVE from the
<br />south line of Sample Street to the north line of Meadow Lane, by constructing Class '"C"
<br />pavements, AND
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2670, 1951, for the improvement of 'NEST 112 OF FELLOWS STREET
<br />from the south lineof Sherwood Avenue to the James Monroe School by constructing grade,
<br />curb, walk and a Class ""C " pdveme nt .
<br />All work done in the making of said described public improvements shall be in accor
<br />dance with the terms and conditions of Improvement Resolutions Nos. 2661, 2662, 2663,
<br />2668, 2669 and 2670, 1951, adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety on the above
<br />named day, and the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Esti-
<br />mates to be adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety of such City, upon the final
<br />adoption of said Resolutions and placed on file in the office of the Department of Engi-
<br />neering of said City.
<br />The Board of Public Works and Safety will meet in its office in the City Hall on
<br />the 2nd day of May, 1951, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P-M-C.S.T., for the purpose of
<br />hearing and considering all remonstrances, which may have been filed or which may be pre
<br />sented, and will hear all persons interested or whose property is affected by said pro-
<br />posed improvements, and will decide whether the benefit that will accrue to the property,
<br />abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, will be equal to or
<br />exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements as estimated by the City Civil
<br />Engineer.
