<br />A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Wednesday, April 11, 1951
<br />at 10:00 a.m. All members were present.
<br />The meeting was called for the purpose of awarding bids for the following:
<br />STREET DEPARTMENT: The Board accepted the bid of Stockberger Seastrom, Incorporated,
<br />or one 1 Mode SG-26S Skid Mounted Portable Steam Generator for the sum of $2,755.00,
<br />their bid being, in the Board's opinion, the lowest and best bid received, subject to tr
<br />approval of the Common Council.
<br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: The Board accepted the bid of Rieth-Riley Construction Company
<br />or the resurfacing of North Main Street from the North line of I'estern Avenue to the
<br />South line of LaSalle Avenue for the sum of $431469.50,their bid being, in the Board's
<br />opinion, the lowest and best bid received, subject to the approval of the Common Council.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
<br />at 10:30 a.m.
