<br />the City Hall at 10:00 a.m. on the 30th day of April for the purpose of hearing and re-
<br />ceiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation, and
<br />the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount of damage
<br />awarded and benefits assessed b(- addressed to the property owners by publishing same on
<br />the 13th day of April and on the 20th day of April, 1951, in the South Bend Daily Tribun

<br />Complaints having been received from residents in the area of Donald and South
<br />Michigan Street relative to the parking lot of the Atlantic and Pacific Store located at
<br />1 2102 South Michigan Street, using their parking lot as a truck terminal, the Board draft
<br />I a letter to the company requesting that this practice be discontinued at once.
<br />The Junion League of South Bend was granted permission to have kleig lights on the
<br />• sidewalk in front of the Palace theateroon Thursday, April 19, 1951, with the suggestion
<br />that the organization have a policy of insurance to cover the city against any and all
<br />liability.
