<br />ing a Class "CR Pavement, AND
<br />KENDALL STREET under Improvement Resolution No. 2538, 1950, adopted June 12, 1950 from
<br />the north line of Donald Street to the south line of Calvert Street by constructing a C1a
<br />"C" Pavement.
<br />• 'I After hearing all persons interested vho appeared and being fully advised on the premises,;
<br />the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improve''
<br />ments are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer,
<br />Therefore,
<br />Ba It Resolved, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that Improvement Resolutions Nos. 2626, 2627, 2634, 2637 and 2638 - 1950 duly
<br />passed by this Board on June 12, 1950, for the above improvements, be and the same is he
<br />by in all things confirmed and the improvements are hereby ordered to be made.

<br />BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />• Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estimate
<br />japproved by this Board on the 12th Day of June, 1950, for the improvement of
<br />No. 2626 MCKINLEY AVENUE from the east line of Eddy Street to the west line of Walsh Street
<br />by constructing a Class "C" Pavement, AND
<br />INo. 2627 POPLAR STREET from the west line of Cleveland Avenue to the east line of the al-
<br />ley west of Cleveland Avenue by constructing a Class "C" Pavement, AND.
<br />No. 2634 ALLEY BETWEEN CALVERT STREET AND DONALD STREET from the east line of Scott Stree
<br />to the west line of Taylor Street; ALLEY BETWEEN SCOTT AND TAYLOR STREETS from
<br />the north line of Donald Street to the south line of the alley south of Calvert
<br />• Street by constructing a Class "C" Pavement, AND
<br />No. 2637 THIRTY-THIRD STREET from the south line of Mishawaka Avenue to the south line of
<br />Pleasant Street by constructing a Class "C" Pavement, AND
<br />!jNo. 2638 KENDALL STREET from the north line of Donald Street to the south line of Calvert
<br />Street by constructing a Class "C" Pavement.

<br />�+Be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the Depart
<br />ment of Engineering of this Board.
<br />July 31, 1950, at the hour of 10:00 o1clock AM -CST is hereby fixed as the time, and the
<br />• office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as the plae 1,
<br />when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety vd ll open and consider bids for the
<br />labove named improvements, provided all bids for the construction of said work shall be
<br />filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 o'clock AM -CST of said day,
<br />Each bidder for said work shall enclose vl th his bid a certified check, payable to the
<br />Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half (2-1) per cent of the amount of his
<br />bid, or a bid bond for two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his bid, to insure
<br />!the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />i The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two (2) weekly pub8
<br />lications of the time and place, when and where bids vd ll be received, opened and consider -
<br />led for the construction of said work. Said Clerk M all state in said notices, that each
<br />• bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for eb ove named amount,
<br />to insure the execution of this contract.
