<br />Be It Resolved, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that the Final Estimate, and Primary or Preliminary Assessment Roll submitted
<br />the Board by the City Civil Engineer or his duly authorized representative on this 26th
<br />day of September, 1949, on the im rovement known as the DALE AVENUE paving as described
<br />in Improvement Resolution No. 259&-1949, adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safet,
<br />on April 25, 19497 be and the same is hereby adopted and the Clerk of this Board is
<br />hereby requested to give notice of the hearing of Special Benefits on said Improvement,
<br />as required by Section N.111 or 120 of an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal
<br />Corporations' Approved March 61 1905.

<br />NOTICE OF DARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON STREET IMPROVEMENT
<br />No. 2594 - 1949

<br />Notice is hereby given, that the following Street Improvement has been completed.
<br />The general character of the Improvement, the street, alley or public place on which
<br />it has been made, and the terminal points thereof, are as follows: DALE AVENUE from
<br />the south line of Indiana Avenue to the north line of Dubail Avenue by draining, gradi
<br />and paving the roadway with a Class "C" Type Four (4) pavement.
<br />There is on file in the office of the City Controller of said City an assessment
<br />roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed -
<br />with the amount of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the office of said
<br />City Controller.
<br />The Board of Public Works & Safety of said City, at the office of the Board in
<br />said City, will on the loth day of October, 1949 at 10:00 A. M. C. S. T. receive and
<br />hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed against their property respectively, on
<br />said roll, and will determine the question as to whether such lots, or tracts of land,
<br />have been or will be benefited by said Improvement to the amounts named on said roll,
<br />or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any svr!. At which place and
<br />time all owners of such real estate may attend in person or by representative and be
<br />heard.

<br />to South Bend, Indiana, and
<br />This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and
<br />Safety in Row # , Drawer # , and recorded in Book 17, Page , in the Recorder'
<br />Office of St. Joseph County,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved b;r the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to
<br />the public use in said plat are hereby accepted and approved by said Board For and on
<br />behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />The following is part of the minutes of September 19th, 1949 but through error
<br />were not included in the minutes.
