581 Insert in South Bend Tribune and Mirror Press on Friday, September 30, 1949 and Friday, October 7, 1949 NOTICE OF HEARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON STREET IMPROVE1,11ENT No. 2585 - 1949 South Bend, Indiana September 30, 1949 • October 7, 1949 Notice is hereby given, that the following Street Improvement has been completed. The general character of the Improvement, the street, alley, or public place on which it has been made, and the terminal points therof, as follows: STANFIELD STREET from the south line of Howard Street to the north line of Corby Street by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a Class ttclt 7 Type Four pavement. There is on file in the office of the City Controller of said City an assessment Poll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with the amount of the prima fa.cia assessment, and can be seen in the office of said City Controller. • IIThe Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the office of the Board in said City, will on the loth day of October, 1949, at 10:00 o'clock A.M.S.S.T. receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed against their property respectively, ' on said roll, and will determine the question as to whether such lots, or tracts of land, have been or will be benefited by said IQprovements to the amounts named on said roll, or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. Rieth who being duly sworn upon oath deposes and says he is acquainted with the Rieth-Riley Construction Com- pany the party to whom was awarded the contract and who performed the work under Improve- ment Resolution No. 2594 - 1949. That he is familiar with and personally knows the requirements of the plans and Specifications of said improvement resolution and further knows that the said Rieth- Riley Construction Company in the performance of said work complied with 2.11 the terms and conditions of said plans and specifications in every particular, and that the materi used was of the character, kind, quantity and quality required therein and according to and under the direction of the Board of Public Works and Safety. • s/ Lee A.
