<br />Indiana, that the Final Estimate, and Primary or Preliminary'Assessment`Roll submitted to
<br />the Board by the City Civil Engineer or his duly authorized representative on this 22nd
<br />day of August, 1949, on the ir_provement known as the GARDEN LANE paving as described in
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2587, 1949, adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety
<br />on .April 25, 1949, be and the same is hereby adopted and the Clerk of this Board is here-
<br />by requested to give notice of the hearing of Special Benefits on said Improvement, as
<br />required by Section N.111 or 120 of an Act entitled "An .Act Concerning Municipol Corpora-

<br />Notice is hereby given, that the following Street Improvement has been completed.
<br />The ,general character of the Improvement, the street, alley, or public place on which
<br />it has been made, and the terminal points thereof, are as follows: GARDEN LANE from the
<br />north line of Dogwood Drive to twenty feet (20' ) north of the south line of Sample Street
<br />y draining, paving andgrading the roadway with a Class "C" Type One (1) pavement. n

<br />There is on file in the office of the City Controller of said City an assessment
<br />roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with
<br />the amount of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the office of said City
<br />ontroller.

<br />• Mr. Barry Armstrong, Mr. Fairchild and Mr. Jones representing the U. S. Gypsum Compa
<br />appeared before the Board to discuss the smoke and mica conditions of their Company. Afte
<br />a Rill discussion of the matter the Gypsum Company informed the Board that they will en-
<br />deavor to work along the line of eliminating said nuisance' and they will report their
<br />progress in this matter to the Board on December 11 1949.
