<br />For the improvement of Hamden Court under Improvement Resolution No. 2595, 191+97
<br />adopted April 25, 1949 from the North line of La Salle Avenue to the South Line of
<br />Alley north of LaSalle Avenue by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a Class
<br />"C" Pavement, Types One (1) to Five (5) inclusive.
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the
<br />premises, the Board decides that the benefits to the proparty liable to be assessed for
<br />said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City
<br />Civil Engineer. Therefore
<br />Be It Resolved, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that Improvement Resolution No. 2595, 1949, duly passed by this Board on April
<br />25th, 1949, for the above impr.ove'ment, be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed
<br />and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made.

<br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED
<br />No. 2595, 1949
<br />South Bend, Indiana

<br />BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estima-
<br />tes approved by this Board on the 25th day of April, 1949, for the improvement of Hamden
<br />Court from the North line of LaSalle Avenue to the South line of Alley north of LaSalle
<br />Avenue by draining,' grading and paving the roadway with a Class «C" Pavement, Types One
<br />(1) to Five (5) inclusive, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file
<br />,in the office of the Department of Engineering of this Board.
<br />June 8, 1949 at the hour of 1o:00 A.M.C.S.T, is hereby fixed as the time, and the
<br />office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as the
<br />place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids
<br />for the above named improvement, provided all bids for the construction of said works
<br />shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 A.M.C.S.T. of said
<br />• day.' Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid, a certified check, payable
<br />to the Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount
<br />of his bid or a bid bond for two and one-half (22 ) per cent of the amount of his bid to
<br />i;.insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />�I The Clerk of this Boardis hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications
<br />Hof the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered for
<br />the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bidder
<br />shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for above named amount, to in-
<br />sure the execution of this contract.
