<br />approved by this Board on the 25th day of April, 1949, for the improvement of Dale
<br />Avenue from the South Line of Indiana Avenue to the North Line of Dubail Avenue by drair-
<br />ing, grading and paving the roadway with a Class "C" Pavement, Types One (1) to Five (5)
<br />inclusive, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office ,
<br />of the Department of Engineering of this Board.
<br />June 8, 1949 at the hour of 10:00 A.M.C.S.T. is hereby fixed as the time, and the !i '
<br />office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as the
<br />place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids 4or
<br />the above named improvement2 provided all bids for the construction of said works shallii
<br />be filed in the office of the Clerl of this Board before 10:00 A. M. C.S.T. of said day1 •
<br />Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid, a certified check, payable to they!
<br />Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of
<br />his bid or a bid bond for two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his bid to
<br />insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.

<br />The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications;)
<br />of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered for
<br />the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bid- �j
<br />der shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for above named amount, i1

<br />bids, and designate by preliminary order the kind o f pavement to be used, for the foll;'w0
<br />ind described Street Improvemerit,'as provided for in Improvement Resolution No. 2594,
<br />1949, duly passed by said Board on April 25th and May 23, 1949 to -wit: Dale Avenue
<br />from the south line of Indiana Avenue to the North line of Dubail Avenue by draining7
