Noble, Clerk of the Board Published South Bend Tribune May 27th and June 3, 1949 Mirror Press May 27th and June 3, 1949 IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION No. 2592, 194-9 South Bend, Indiana May 23, 19� 9 For the improvement of Poland Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2592, 1949 adopted April 25, 191+9 from the West Line of Olive Street to the East Line of Kaley Stre by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a Class "C" Pavement, Types One (1) to Five (5) inclusive. After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for • said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer. Therefore Be It Resolved, 'By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana that Improvement Resolution No. 2592, 194-9, duly passed by this Board on April 25, 1943 for the above improvement, be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed and the Improvement is hereby ordered to be made. Noble, Clerk of the Board PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED No. 2592, 191+9 South Bend, Indiana May 23, 1949 • BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estima- tes approved by this Board on the 25th day of April, 1949, for the Improvement of Poland Street from the West Line of Olive Street to the East Line of Kaley Street by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a -Class "C" Pavement, Types One (1) to Five (5) inclusive, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the Department of Engineering of this Board. June 8, 1949, at the hour of 10:00 A. M. C. S. T. is hereby fixed as the time, and the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as the place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider • bids for the construction of said works shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 A. M. C. S. T. of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid, a certified check, payable to the Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his bid or a bid bond for two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his bid to insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him. The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications of the time and place,.khen and where bids will be received, opened and considered for the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for above named amount, to in- sure the execution of this contract. • R. S.
