<br />BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estima-
<br />tes approved by this Board on the 25th day of April, 1949, for the Improvement of
<br />Thirty-second Street from the North Line of Pleasant Street to the South Line of Vine
<br />Street by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a Class "C" Pavement, Types One
<br />(1) to Five (5) inclusive, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file
<br />in the office of the Department of Engineering of this Board.
<br />June 8, 1949, at the hour of 10.00 A.M.C.S.T, is hereby fixed as the time, and the
<br />office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as the
<br />place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids
<br />for the above named improvement, provided all bids for the construction of said works
<br />shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 A.M.C.S.T. of said
<br />day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid, a certified check, payable
<br />to the Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half (21) per cent of the amount
<br />of his bid or a bid bond for two and one-half (2j) per cent of the amount of his bid to
<br />insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications
<br />of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered for
<br />the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bidder
<br />shall enclose with his bid, a certified check or bid bond for above named amount, to
<br />insure the execution of this contract.

<br />Notice is hereby given, that the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana, on the 8th day'of June, 1949, at the hour of 10:00 A.M.C.S.T. at
<br />the office of the Board, in the City H all, in Said City, will open and consider sealed
<br />bids, and designate by preliminary order the kind of pavement to be used, for the follo
<br />ing described Street Improvement, as provided for in Improvement Resolution No. 2591,
<br />1949, duly passed by said Board on April 25, 1949'and May 23, 1949 to -wit: Thirty-seco
<br />Street from the North line of Pleasant Street to the South Line of Vine Street by drain
<br />grading and paving the roadway with a Class "C" pavement, Types One (1) to Five (5) in-
<br />clusive.
<br />Provided, all bids for the construction of said work, shall be filed in the office
<br />of the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City before 10:00 A.M.C.S.T
<br />of said day.
<br />Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check payable to
