441 <br />FINAL ORDER <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION No. 2573 1948 <br />October 11, 1948 <br />Whereas, the Board of Public Works, did on the 28th day of September 1948, adopt <br />la <br />Preliminary Order designating a Class C. Type 1+, Compacted Aggregate Base, B ztuminous <br />Concrete Surface a. s the kind of Pavement for the improvement of South Jackson Street <br />from North line of Sample Street to South line of Dunham Street in accordance with Im- <br />• <br />provement resolution No, 2573 1948, passed by this Board on September 2, 1948. <br />Whereas, fifty-one (51) percent and more of the resident property owners on said <br />South Jackson Street on or before October 9, 1948 did request in writing that said South <br />Jackson Street be paved with a Class C. Type 1, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement. <br />Be It Resolved, That the Preliminary Order is hereby rescinded and said street <br />(ordered paved with a Class C. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the award <br />f damages and -the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of Hill street froz <br />Napoleon Boulevard to the south line of Peashway Street and from the North line of Pea.shwa; <br />treet to the aouth line of Angela Boulevard, under vacation Resolution No. 2581. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereb orders that it will meet in the <br />City Hall at 11:00 A.M. on November 1, 1948 for the purpose of hearing and receiving re- <br />monstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation, and the Board <br />(further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount of damages awarded <br />• <br />and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing same on the 1 th <br />day of October and on the 22 day of October, 1948 in the South Bend daily Tribune and the <br />,,Weekly Mirror. <br />
