<br />Be It Resolved, By the Board of Public 1r7orr:s and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana_, that it is deemed necessary to improve ?;lest Huror. Street from ,lest line of Soutl
<br />Meade Street to ?!Test line of alley :Test of Liberty Street by draining, grading and paving
<br />the roadway with a Class "C" Pavement as follows: Type 1 - Portland Cerient Concrete;
<br />Type 2 - Bituminous Compacted Aggregate Base, Bituminous Concrete Surface; Type 3 -
<br />Bituminous Compacted Aggregate Base, Bituminous Coated Aggregate Surface; �i'ype 4 - C om-
<br />pacted Aggregate Base, Bituminous Concrete Surface; Type 5 - Compacted Aggregate Base,
<br />Bituminous Coated Aggregate Surface, the same to be done in accordance with the profiles,
<br />drawings, plans, general details and specifications of such improvement ap- roved August
<br />30, 1948 and to be adopted by the Board of Public ';orks and Safety of the City of South
<br />Bend, immlediately upon the final adoption of this resolution, and placed on file in the
<br />office of the City Civil Engineer of said City, and such improvement is now ordered.
<br />The total cost of said improvement, includingall incidental costs such as adver-
<br />tising, abstracting, inspection and engineering, shall be assessed upon the real estate
<br />abutting -on said ,.,Test Huron Street to be improved, all according- to the method and manner;
<br />provided for in an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, entitled "An Act ;
<br />Concerning Municipal Corporations" approved Iparch 69 1905, and in accordance with and
<br />pursuant to the provisions of all amendatory and supplemental acts thereto, passed by
<br />the General Assembly of the State of Indiana. Assessments, if deferred, are to be paid
<br />in ten equal installments i.-iith interest at the rate of five (j) per cent per annum.
