Pintle <br />hitch plate shall be 3/a" thick and welded to the chassis longsills. It <br />shall have the ability to pull a trailer of 49,000 Ibs trailer weight <br />9800 lbs tongue weight. Hitch, safety chain rings and brackets <br />attached to chassis shall be included. <br />-Height of bitch receiver shall be provided by the department. <br />-A trailer light plug shall be installed at the rear in approved <br />location. Plug shall be wired to meet NTEA standard wire <br />locations. <br />-Light plug shall 7 way Bargeman and shall include hook of the <br />chassis electric brake controller. <br />SHALL BE <br />AS <br />SPECIFIED <br />(Circle One) <br />YES / NO <br />Miscellaneous: There shall be installed a body prop, body up light, back up alarm. CYDES/ NO <br />:Driver Step: The body company shall add an additional access step to the YES NO <br />driver's side of the chassis to allow the operator easy access to the <br />chassis door without having to use the underbody for a step. <br />Fenders: There shall be a set of poly full fenders over the rear back tires. YES NO <br />'Reflective Tape: There shall be a 3" reflective tape installed both bottom sides and OYES' NO <br />top and bottom of rear of the tailgate. <br />Electric Tarp Tarp system should be of the electric type: It should have a one (Y/ NO <br />System: piece, preassembled and enclosed spool assembly with a built in <br />wind deflector for maximum tarp protection. Unit should be direct <br />drive, ball bearing gear motor. Designed specifically for tarp <br />system. There should be no chains, sprockets, belts, pulleys or <br />other exposed moving parts. Tension bow should tuck in front of <br />tarp in behind cab guard to keep wind froth getting under tarp. This <br />should provide mechanical lock down for the rear tarp bow. The <br />tarp shall be mesh type. Unit shall have lock out system so that <br />operator cannot operate system while driving above 20 mph. Unit <br />to include indicator light.
