The City owned lots along the west Leland Avenue between Lincoln Way West and Marion Street will be
evaluated to determine if there are trees that would be preferred to be kept and all other trees, bushes,
fencing, and pavements will be removed and seeded.
Right of way along Marion Street and Leland Avenue will be adjusted to ensure the improvements remain
within the public right of way. Existing utilities will be researched throughout the project limits,
specifically in areas where streets may have been previously realigned or right of way is proposed to be
vacated. Abonmarche will design sewer and water relocations as necessary and coordinate relocations with
other companies as required.
One parcel near Madison Street may encroach on the right of way and conflict with the proposed
improvements. A second parcel is surrounded by City owned property on the south side of Marion Street
which will prohibit the potential of combining all lots in that quadrant into one parcel. Abommarche will
contact the property owners and negotiate property transfers.
Access to the Citgo gas station immediatedly west of Scott Street will be reduced to provide more defined
and controlled access while maintaining reasonable routes to the gas pumps. If the Scott Street intersection
with Lincoln Way West is restored one of the two Lincoln Way approaches for the gas station may be
recommended to be removed.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The scope of services proposed herein includes the survey, design and development of bid documents for
the project.
