M <br />sup <br />TO: MEMBERS OF COMMON COUNCIL OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />It is respectfully requested that with respect to the <br />resolution which appears on the agenda of tonight's meeting of <br />the Common Council of South Bend, Indiana, as item 9A, if the <br />Common Council determines to limit the real estate covered by <br />such resolution to the land involved in the Hole Project (First <br />Bank and Trust Company of South Bend and Marriott Hotel land), <br />a motion should be made to change the legal description of the <br />real estate where such appears in both places in such resolution <br />to read as follows: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of East <br />Washington Street and the centerline of St. Joseph Street <br />in South Bend, Indiana; thence northerly along the centerline <br />of St. Joseph Street to the centerline of East Colfax Avenue; <br />thence westerly along the centerline of East Colfax Avenue <br />to its intersection with the centerline of Michigan Street as <br />formerly existing; (which such point is located 41.25 feet <br />North and 49.5 feet East of the Northeast corner of Lot <br />No. 13 in the Original Plat of South Bend, Indiana; thence <br />southerly along the centerline of what was formerly known <br />as Michigan Street to the centerline of Washington Street; <br />thence easterly along; the centerline of Washington Street to <br />the intersection with the centerline of St. Joseph Street <br />and the point of beginning. <br />Warren E.
