John Grabarz advised the Board that this was thT date set for a hearing on property Located at 322 S. Chicago Street, owned by Mrs. Elizabeth Molnar, Mr. Grabarz informed the Board that a trailer, now occupied, had been allowed to stand on this property and that two years ago Mrs. Molnar was requested to find another location for the trailer. To date this has not been done, and according to Mrs. Molnar, she had another location for the trailer in Michigan but, because there was a mortgage on the trailer nOW it could not be removed from its present location. Mr. Grabarz requested legal advice concerning this case. After hearing Mr. Grabarz, Mr. DuComb, Chairman of the Board and, City Attorney, advised Mr. Grabarz that he would discuss this case with him after the Board meeting in order to familiarize himself 0 with the entire history. Upon the request of Mr. West, Building Commissioner, the Board approved attendance at the National Convention of American Society of Sanitary Engineers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of Mr. Elwyn A. Fienhold, Chief. Plumbing Inspector. The Board was informed that there are sufficient funds in the budget to cover the cost of this trip. TRAFFIC ENGINEER: INSTAL�ATIOI,�S At the request of the Board, Mr. Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, investigated a request petitioned by residents of the area to install adequate warning signs on Wooderest at Twyekenham to protect the children. As a result of this petition, Mr. Hazinski submitted a report in which he advised the Board that many motorists think this is a through street and unnecessary vehicular travel is the result. Signs indicating this to be a Dead End street as well as a sign to - "Watch For Children" have been ordered installed. The Board approved the installations. Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following installations were approved: 2 Hour time limit signs installed to cover 2637 W. Sample Street. 2 Hour time limit signs on west side of 700 Arnold Street, alongside 1201 W. Dunham. No Parking 8:30 - 9:30 A.M. and from 2:30 - 3:30 P.M. on south side of 500 E. Ewing Avenue in front of Riley High School - School Bus parking. Stop Sign installed on southwest corner of Parkway at Lombardy Drive. Yield sign installed at corner, N.E., of Parkway at Lombardy Drive. TRAFFIC ENGT M: ATMD CO�CE Permission was given to Clem Hazinski to attend the Governorts Safety Conference and to serve on an Engineerts Panel. The Conference will be held in Indianapolis and Mr. Hazinski will attend on September 29, 1964.
