1 - 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne four door station wagon, 195 hp. V8 <br />engine, 11911 <br />List $3,245.35 <br />Less allowance for one 1959 Studebaker two door <br />station wagon and Fed. Excise Tax 1,199.35 <br />Net $2, 049. 00 <br />Certified check for $205.00 signed by F. Sparks <br />Non -Collusion Affidavit, signed by Van E. Gates, Pres. <br />The Bids will be taken under advisement and awarded on May 25, 1964. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: INSTALLATIONS <br />Following the recommendation of Eugene Radecki, Superintendent of the <br />Electrical Department the following installations were approved. <br />1. 4,000 lumen street light on the corner of W. Washington and Kentucky. <br />2. 4,000 lumen street light on corner of W. Washington and Liberty. <br />3. 4,000 lumen street light on N. Falcon, z block north of W. Washington. <br />These street lights were petitioned by James J. Badowski and others in <br />the area. <br />PETITION• ELECCTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGIU ) <br />A Petition for a street light on east side of Fellows at alley - Monroe <br />on pole J259-254 is being investigated by the Electrical Department <br />Superintendent. <br />Action on this is continued until May 25, 1964. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />REPORT: TRAFFIC ENGINEER ( INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT GREEN,�AWN <br />& MISHAWAKA AVENUES ) <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, at the request of the Mayor through <br />the Board, conducted a survey at Greenlawn and Mishawaka Avenues to <br />determine the need for traffic signa;s. <br />The studies indicate that sufficient traffic exists for the installation <br />of a semi -actuated traffic signal system at that location. <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the Board approved <br />the installation and also to include pedestrian actuated lights. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: INSTALLATIONS <br />Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following <br />installations were approved: <br />Stop signs installed on 17illiam Street, northwest' -and northeast <br />corner at South Street. <br />30 idinute time limit signs installed to cover 521 E. LaSalle Ave. <br />CHANGE ORDER: INDIANA & MICHIGAN ELECTRIC CO ( TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT <br />MICHIGAN AND LASALLE ) <br />A letter from Harold M. West, District Manager of Indiana & Michigan <br />Electric Company with Change Order attached for traffic signal current <br />charges at Michigan and LaSalle was submitted to the Board. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
