This was taken under advisement in order to examine the original <br />agreement. <br />REQUEST: LOADING ZONE ( MRS . A. EMO ) <br />Mrs. Amy Kekko appeared before the Board to request that a loading <br />zone be established in front of her establishment located at 219 <br />N. Michigan Street. Parking Meters are presently at this curb. <br />Mrs. Kekko advised the Board that merchants unloading supplies for <br />this restaurant have no place to unload and are given parking tickets. <br />The matter was referred to the Traffic Engineer for investigation and <br />recommendation, to be presented at the next meeting of the Board. <br />ST FOR HEARTNG• VIOLATION OF RULES AND REM=IONS OF THE <br />Following a complaint from Fire Chief McHenry concerning alleged <br />violation of Rules and Regulations of the Fire Department by Fireman. <br />John E. Cunningham, the Board scheduled a Hearing on the alleged <br />violation for Monday, May 25, 1964 at 9:00 A.M. <br />A letter to Mr. Cunningham advising him of said Hearing was ordered <br />delivered to him. <br />APPLICATION: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />An application for the Fire Department from. William Edward Brien was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />PEkiMISSION TO ADVERTISE: BICYCLE AUCTION <br />Permission was granted, through the Office of the Board, to advertise <br />for a Bicycle Auction for the benefit of the Police Pension Fund. <br />The auction will include bicycle and bicycle parts and miscellaneous <br />parts that have been abandoned and left unclaimed and are in the <br />custody of the Police Department. <br />The auction will be held on May 27, 1964 at 1:30 P.M. in City Hall <br />Court or, in the event of inclement weather, on May 28, 1964 at the <br />same time and place. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( HEAR.INGS ) <br />Comes now John Grabarz, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the <br />Building Department, with reference to property owned by Rev. Bowles <br />and located at 138 S. Falcon Street. <br />Mr. Grabarz advised that Board that Rev. Bowles has failed to clean UP <br />property and remove accessory buildings as ordered in October, 1963. <br />This has not been done. <br />• Rev. Bowles advised the Board that he intended to clean up property and <br />requested additional time to accomplish the work. <br />The Board granted a continuance of 30 days, or until June 15k 1964 at <br />which time the property must be cleaned up as ordered. <br />Mr. Grabarz requested a continuance on hearing for property located at <br />830 S. Rush Street, owned by Melvin Taylor. Mr. Grabarz requested <br />this continuance in order to allow time to receive Proof of Notice <br />to appear before the Board. <br />Case continued for one week. <br />
