Secure detailed below grade topographic survey data to supplement detailed surface data from <br />ALO1B for documenting sanitary and storm facilities. Underground structure inspections include: <br />1. Structure Type <br />2. Structure Material <br />3. Barrel Size <br />4. Rim Elevation <br />5. Direction, size, material and invert of present connections (as can be determined from top- <br />side). <br />6. General remarks regarding the structure and structure photographs. <br />7. Inspection of underground drainage structures does not include: <br />a. Confined space entry <br />b. Video inspection of the structure, or video inspection of connecting pipe(s) <br />c. Cleaning of structures <br />d. Exercising lids or castings <br />e. Employing measurement methods that are not customary to top -side structure <br />inspections. <br />A1.02 Inventory Existing Shared -use Network <br />A. Collect background material from current and previous relevant planning and design efforts and <br />studies in the South Bend community that shall be considered to establish the planning context for <br />the work. <br />B. Conduct a field review of the study area to document neighborhood, commercial centers and other <br />points of interests considering frontage, designated historic facilities or neighborhoods, sidewalks, <br />streets, alleys, trails, and other transportation amenities, destinations and highly visible or visited <br />destinations. <br />C.
