I <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER• TRAFFIC SIGNS IKSTALLATIONS <br />Following the -recormnendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following <br />installations were approved: <br />NO ANGLE PARKING: 3 Parallel Parking Only signs & posts on north side <br />of 1100 LLshawaka Ave. <br />At end of radius of driveway at east property line 1125 <br />20 east of �125 <br />S ft. west in front of 1117 <br />2 HOUR PARKING: 2 - 2 Hour Parking signs in front of 1910-12 Milami. <br />PAR.ALLF,L::PARKING ONLY SIGNS; In front of 1117 Mishawaka Avenue replace <br />,;No Angle Parking" with 3 Parallel Parking Only .S_1-gns & paint <br />.,, arrows with green paint. <br />up NO PARKING SIGNS WITH ARROWS: On East Jefferson at driveways east of <br />St. Anthony's Church. <br />U <br />U REPORT FMA TRAFFIC ENGINEER; SIGNALIZATION OF EIVING & FELLOW STREETS <br />In response to a Petition for traffic signals at Diiing and Fellows, <br />submitted to the Board by Councilman Smith; referred to the Traffic <br />Engineer for investigation and recommendation; the Traffic Engineer <br />submitted a report in which he recommmended that a semi -actuated traffic <br />control device signal be installed at this intersection. <br />Mir . Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, also advises in his report that similar <br />studies have 'teen made for intersections of Edison ;goad and Ironwood Drive <br />and also Ireland and T.iLami and that in his opinion, sufficient warrants do <br />not exist for signalization at the present time at these intersections. <br />Studies will be kept current but in the meanti:e it is felt that present <br />traffic controls are adequate. <br />The Board approved the signalization of Doing and Fellows as recommended <br />by the Traffic Engineer. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPMIS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />iIONTHLY REPORT: ti'JEIGHTS & TJTASURES <br />The Board accepted a repay t for the month of January, 1965 from Bert <br />Cicho`•ricz; for the Department of '::eights & Measures and ordered same <br />placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTTENT• SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( HEARINGS } <br />Richard Liszewski, Supervisor of the Sub -Standard Division appeared <br />before the Board and advised that lAr. Cook, owner of property located at <br />506 2rth Street had been in the Sub -Standard Office and submitted a check <br />for Mr Liszewski to observe. The check, in the sum of $400.00 was dated <br />January 29, 1965 and made payable to the contractor to repair the subject <br />property. <br />Tyr. Cook also stated that he had stopped repair because of lack of funds. <br />He now requested a continuance of 60 days in order to complete the <br />repairs. <br />Continuance granted until I -`arch 15, 1965. <br />
