2 /24 /7 0 <br />HOUSE MOVING -- From 3000 E. McKinley to 468 S. Greenlawn <br />Roy Thompson, 444 S. Greenlawn, appeared before the Board requesting <br />information on type of house to be moved and its placement on the <br />new site. Per request received from the Building Commissioner, it <br />was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that permission be <br />granted to move this house (owned by Herman Light) subject to noti- <br />fication by the mover, Lewis Mitschelen, to the utility companies and <br />the Park Department. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT -- SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />The motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried that the <br />Sub -Standard Division be requested to seek bids for the demolition <br />of structures at the following locations: <br />2123 W. Indiana -- owners, Harold and Betty Jo Warstler <br />211 E. Paris -- owners, Harold and Betty Jo Warstler <br />816 Oak Street: Estate of Walter J. Lamirand, (John Lamirand, <br />Executor) . Garth Lamirand (brother of John) appeared before the <br />Board and it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that this <br />matter be continued until March 9, 1970 to allow the executor to <br />either close up the structure or make other appropriate disposition. <br />123 E. Paris: Bernice L. Morrison, owner <br />A motion was made, seconded and carried that this matter be continued <br />until March 2, 1970, and in the meantime a new inspection of the <br />property is to be made. <br />1229 E. Cedar: Owner, F.H.A. <br />John Foster, representing the F.H.A. appeared before the Board, and <br />it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that this matter be <br />continued'until March 9 to allow time to close up the building. <br />518 S. Rush: Owner, Etta Viola Carr <br />The motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried that this <br />matter be continued until March 9, 1970 to allow the owner time <br />to arrange for demolition by private contract. <br />125 N. Jackson: Owners, Joseph and Sally Lee <br />Joseph Lee appeared before the Board, and it was moved, seconded and <br />unanimously carried that this matter be continued until March 2, 1970 <br />to allow time for the owners to make a decision on whether this is <br />to be,demolished under private contract or through the Board. <br />The following were continuations from previous meetings: <br />123 N. Jackson: It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried <br />that this matter be continued until March 2, 1970 to allow time to <br />investigate the possibility of interest by turnkey builders. <br />2625 W. Linden: A motion was made, seconded and carried that Sub - <br />Standard Division be authorized to seek bids for the demolition of <br />the structure and the backfilling of the adjacent excavation. <br />315 Parkovash: A motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried <br />that this matter be continued until March 9, 1970. It was suggested <br />that Steven Stavron of the City Legal Dept. be asked for a legal <br />opinion. <br />712 E. Madison: It was reported that this structure is being <br />demolished under private contract (owners, American National Bank <br />and Trust Co.) and therefore this file is to be closed. <br />
