Jackson Street be continued one week on <br />condition, first, that $25.00 be deposited with the Board of Public Works and <br />Safety for the low bidder,.B & J Demolition.Company, if the property is to be <br />demolished by the owner, and on the second condition that the property be <br />closed up. Mr. Winkowski then deposited $25.00 in cash with the Board. <br />702 S. Olive Street. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kandzierski, owners of this <br />• property, appeared before the Board. Mr. Kandzierski stated that it is his intention <br />to repair and rebuild the portion of the building damaged by fire in 1968 <br />by May or June of this year at the latest, and stated that the building is <br />presently secured. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the <br />matter was continued 90 days for the owner to remove the damaged wing of the <br />structure and commence rebuilding, on the condition that the structure is <br />kept closed. <br />2625 W. Linden Street. Attorney Henry Hoover appeared before the Board on be- <br />half of the owner. Mr. Adamson stated there is a.hole where the structure was <br />demolished and that there is an accessory building on the back of the lot. Mr. <br />Hoover requested a continuance of one week for consultation with the owner, <br />which, upon motion made, seconded and carried, was granted. <br />315 Parkovash. Attorney Henry Hoover, appearing for the owner, was handed a <br />list of deficiencies of the sV,ucture at this location, and the matter, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, was continued one week at the request of <br />Mr. Hoover. <br />524 E. Broadway. Mr, Adamson reported this property is secured and, upon <br />motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was continued <br />indefinitely, and the Sub -Standards Director was directed to keep the property <br />under surveillance. <br />712 E. Madison Street. Mr. Adamson reported the owner of this property has <br />employed a private contractor to demolish this property. <br />Demolition bids opened: <br />This being the time set, demolition bids for the following properties were <br />opened. Non collusion affidavits were examined and found to be proper. Bids <br />were as follows: <br />830 S. Marietta Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company <br />on its low bid of $479.00. <br />
