Applications for appointment to the South Bend Police Depart- ment, for the following applicants, were filed with the Board and referred to the Personnel Director for further processing. Adam J. Brodzinski, Jr. Howard Allen Lindale Michael Paul Ross REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS - POLICE DEPARTMENT The request for a transfer of funds, in the amount of $335.00, from Account P-11, '"Services Personal" to Account P-57, "licenses", was referred to the City Controller for review and recommendation. MODEL C IT IE S Mr. Charles Lennon requested the acceptance of a proposal sub- mitted by Crumlish, Sporleder & Associates. This proposal includes all services appropriate for preliminary budget costs as well as recommendations on the scheduling of capital improvements. The consultants fee is $4„500. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the proposal of Crumlish, Sporleder & Associates was approved. BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION Mr. J.W. Adamson, Sub -Standard Director, appeared before.the Board and the following matters were taken up: 1016 Sorin Street - Gladys A. Rothballer Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was continued for two weeks to allow the Sub -Standard Department to communicate with Mrs. Rothballer. 1.112 E. Sorin Street - Robert & Lilly Curtis Upon motion made, seconded and carried the matter of 1112 E. Sorin Street be continued for two weeks to permit the Sub -Standard De- partment to communicate with the owners. 236 E. Elder Street - Ross Weldy Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board authorized the Sub -Standard Department to seek bids for the demolition of this structure. 115 E. Elder Street - Mamie Myers Upon motion made, seconded and carried the matter of 115 E. Elder Street is to be con- tinued for one week to permit the Sub -Standard Department to contact Mr. Bernard Myers.
