10/13/69 <br />1825 S. Miami Street. This being the date set for receiving bids for de- <br />molition of the property at 1825 S. Miami Street, bids were opened as <br />follows: <br />The bid of A & J Demolition was opened and non collusion -affidavit found <br />not to be notarized and the bid was therefore rejected. <br />Non collusion affidavits accompanying the following bids were found to be <br />proper, and the bids were: <br />Bryant Excavating Company $1035.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company $1225:00 <br />O'Neal, -Trucking Company $ 809.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the premises at 1825 S. Miami Street was awarded to O'Neal Trucking <br />Company on its low bid of $809.00. And contract was executed by the Board. <br />519 E. Pennsylvania Street. This being the date set, bids for demolition of the <br />property at 519 E. Pennsylvania Street were opened. Non collusion affidavits were <br />found to be proper. Bids were: <br />RE <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $489.00 <br />`' Bryant Excavating Company $471.00 <br />B &. J Demolition $335.00 <br />A F, J Demolition $435.00 <br />Vanek Excavating Co. $40i.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the structures at 519 E. Pennsylvania Street was awarded to B & J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $335.00. And contract was executed by the Board. <br />1631 Linden Avenue. This being the date set, bids for demolition of an <br />accessory buil:ding':at T631 Linden Avenue -were -opened. Non collusion -affidavits <br />were found to be proper. Bids were: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $ 99.50 <br />A & J Demolition $ 75.00 <br />B & J Demolition $100.00 <br />Bryant Excavating Company $125.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of <br />the accessory building at 1631 Linden Avenue was awarded to A & J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $75.00. And contract was executed by the'Board. <br />1027 W. Jefferson. Demolition contractor Jerry Davis, being present at the <br />meeting, submitted proof of authorization from the owner to demolish the <br />property at 1027 W. Jefferson. Thereupon, it was moved, seconded and <br />unanimously carried that the bids received for the demolition of this property <br />be held one week to permit the owner to demolish the property himself. <br />1534 Chapin Street. This being the date set, bids were opened for the <br />demolition of this property. Non collusion affidavits were found to be <br />proper. Bids were: <br />Bryant Excavating Company $785.00 <br />John E. Vanek $878.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $915.00 <br />A & J Demolition Company $1325.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company $1230.00 <br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that contract for demolition <br />of the structures at 1534 S. Chapin Street be awarded to Bryant Excavatiog <br />Company on its low bid of $785.00. And contract was executed by the Board. <br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3226 - MICHIGAN <br />STREET SEWER <br />For the improvement of South Michigan, South Main, South Lafayette, Walters <br />Street Area, from Barbie Street south to Ireland Road, and from South Lafayette <br />Street to approximately 1000 feet east of S. Michigan Street, by constructing <br />a local sewer. <br />
