It is our hope that where possible the men
should be allowed to take their vacations during the summer
months; but if some classifications do not lend themselves
to this practice, it will be up to the discretion of the
Street Department Superintendent to schedule vacations as
work loads dictate. However vacations should be scheduled
as far in advance as possible to give the employee proper
time to make arrangements.
Be it further known that seasonal employees (those hired
during the summer months for less than a 90 day period)
shall not be covered by the provisions of this agreement.
Sincerley yours,
CHAUFFEURS, TEAMSTERS & HELPERS
LOCAL UNION NO. 364
Norman C.
