AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE HILDRETH STREET - MAX M. FISCHER Area Plan Commission recommends favorably for the vacation of Hildreth Street, from Roberts to the north -south alley east of Roberts. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the petition is referred to the City Engineer for the preparation of aiVacation Resolution. C� Area Plan Commission recommends favorably for the vacation of Rrast Boulevard, between Illinois Street and Sheridan Avenue. HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3297 - CURTIS GERBER This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation Resolution No. 3291, being for the vacation of: A portion of the first east -west alley lying south of Hildreth Street and west from the west line of Twyckenham Drive described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 32, Euclid Park, South Bend, Indiana; thence west 111.5 feet to the north- west corner of Lot 32; thence north 14 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 31; thence east 111.5 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 31; thence south 14 feet to,. -the place of beginning.' Also, a portion of the first east -west alley north of Northside Boulevard running east from the north -south alley east of Clover Street, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 37, Euclid Park; thence east 55.75 feet along the south line of said Lot 37; thence south 14 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 39; thence west 55.75 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 39; thence north 14 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 37, the place of beginning. Proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on July 11, July 18 and July 25, 1969, were read and found to be proper. No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been re- ceived, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the assessment roll was approved and said Resolution in all things, ratified and confirmed and the proceedings closed and the property declared vacated.
