8/4/69 <br />Demolition contracts signed <br />612 E. Ohio Street. The owner of this property having taken no appeal with- <br />in seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract <br />awarded 7/28/69 to.O'Neal Trucking Company, on his bid of $475.00, is now <br />formally signed by the Board. <br />810 W. Jefferson. The owner of this property having taken no appeal with- <br />in seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract <br />awarded 7/28/69 to A & J Demolition Company on his low bid of $475.85, <br />is now formally signed by the.Board. <br />AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE HILDRETH STREET - MAX M. FISCHER <br />Area Plan Commission recommends favorably for the vacation of Hildreth Street, <br />from Roberts to the north -south alley east of Roberts. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and unanimously carried, the petition is referred to the City <br />Engineer for the preparation of aiVacation Resolution. <br />AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE PRAST BOULEVARD - BENDIX CORP. <br />C� <br />Area Plan Commission recommends favorably for the vacation of Rrast Boulevard, <br />between Illinois Street and Sheridan Avenue. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and unanimously carried, the petition is referred to the City Engineer for <br />the preparation of a Vacation Resolution. <br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3297 - CURTIS GERBER <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation <br />Resolution No. 3291, being for the vacation of: <br />A portion of the first east -west alley lying south of Hildreth <br />Street and west from the west line of Twyckenham Drive described <br />as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 32, Euclid <br />Park, South Bend, Indiana; thence west 111.5 feet to the north- <br />west corner of Lot 32; thence north 14 feet to the southwest <br />corner of Lot 31; thence east 111.5 feet to the southeast corner <br />of Lot 31; thence south 14 feet to,. -the place of beginning.' <br />Also, a portion of the first east -west alley north of Northside <br />Boulevard running east from the north -south alley east of Clover <br />Street, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner <br />of Lot 37, Euclid Park; thence east 55.75 feet along the south <br />line of said Lot 37; thence south 14 feet to the northeast corner <br />of Lot 39; thence west 55.75 feet to the northwest corner of said <br />Lot 39; thence north 14 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 37, <br />the place of beginning. <br />Proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on <br />July 11, July 18 and July 25, 1969, were read and found to be proper. No <br />remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been re- <br />ceived, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the assessment roll was <br />approved and said Resolution in all things, ratified and confirmed and the <br />proceedings closed and the property declared vacated. <br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3292 - BENDIX CORP. <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation <br />Resolution No. 3292, being for the vacation of: <br />Those portions of Illinois, Wellington, Kenmore and Falcon Streets, <br />between'Westmore Street on the south and Prast Boulevard on the <br />north, more particularly described as follows: <br />Illinois Street. Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 177; <br />thence on a southerly line 574.72 feet to the southeast corner <br />of Lot 177; thence on an easterly line 60 feet to the southwest <br />corner of Lot 178; thence on a northerly line 574.05 feet to <br />the northwest corner of Lot 178; thence on a westerly line 60 <br />feet to the northeast corner of Lot 177. <br />
