119 <br />7/21/69 <br />MOTIONS RESCINDED - SUB -STANDARDS DIVISION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following minutes, <br />recorded at page 205 of these Minutes, were rescinded: <br />111213 Clover Street. Property is open and has had a bad fire. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, permission <br />was granted to advertise for bids for demolition of the <br />property." <br />111814 S. St. Joseph Street. The owner of this property is de- <br />ceased. Mr. Adamson states the son, Richard Walters, the <br />only heir, is willing for the property to be taken down. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, per- <br />mission was granted to advertise for bids for demolition of <br />the premises." <br />Demolition Bids Opened: <br />This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following <br />sub -standard properties. Non collusion affidavit accompanying each bid was <br />found to be proper. Bids were as follows: <br />2526 Linden Street (accessory building): The only bid received was by A. <br />Midwest Demolition Company in the amount of $433.49. This bid appearing <br />to be for the demolition of both the house and accessory building, upon <br />motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the bid was rejected and <br />the Sub -Standards Director granted permission to readvertise for bids for <br />demolition of the accessory building only. <br />417 S. William Street: <br />John E. Vanek $1,385.00 <br />A. Midwest Demolition Co. $1,117.00 <br />Julius O'Neal $ 840.�00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the two story frame building and accessory building at 417 S. William <br />Street was awarded to Julius O'Neal on his low bid of $810.00, subject to <br />the owner taking no appeal within the next seven days. <br />721 S. Jackson Street. Mr. Adamson reported nothing has been done to re- <br />habilitate this property. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously <br />carried, permission was granted to advertise for bids for demolition of the property <br />providing an inspection is first made and the property found in the same <br />condition as previously. <br />Demolition Contracts signed: <br />414 E. Pennsylvania Street The owner of this property having taken no appeal <br />within seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract <br />awarded July 14, 1969, to Julius O'Neal for the demolition of this property on <br />his, low bid of $685.00, is now formally signed by the Board. <br />115 N. Adams Street. The owner of this property having taken no appeal within <br />seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract awarded <br />July 14, 1969, to John E. Vanek for the demolition of this property on his low <br />bid of $522.00, is now formally signed by the Board. <br />204 E. Keasey Street: The owner of this property having taken no appeal within <br />seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract <br />awarded July 14, 1969, to Julius O'Neal for the demolition of this property <br />on his low bid of $523.00, is now formally signed by the Board. <br />728 S. Rush Street. The owner of this property having taken no appeal within <br />seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract awarded <br />July 14, 1969, to John E.
