6/30/69 318 N. Cushing. .Mrt..Parcher did -not appear. Upon motion made, seconded . and carried, the matter was continued one week to determine the owner of this property which belonged to the deceased father of Mrs. Parcher. 720-720'' Columbia. Mr. Adamson reported this property labs now been de- molished by the owner. 721 S. Jackson Street. Mr. Adamson reports nothing has yet been done on this property. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried an ex- tension of three weeks was granted to permit the owner to repair the property. Request to appear before Board July 14, 1969 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approvedthe request of the Sub -Standards Director for the following owners of sub -standard properties to appear before the Board on July 14, 1969, to show cause why such properties should not be demolished: 1814 S. St. Joseph Street Alice Walters 2207 Smith Street National. Bank 8 Trust Co. 810 W. Jefferson Blvd. Katie E. Bergie And the Clerk is directed to so notify said owners by certified mail. Open bids for demolition: This being the date set,"bids for demolition of the following properties were opened. Non collusion affidavits accompanying the bids were examined and found to be proper. Bids were: 717 S. Kaley: A & J Demolition Company $475.00 Harvey R. Bryant-487.00 John E. Vanek 425.00 Julius O'Neal '%535;00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried; contract for the demolition of 717 S. Kaley Street was awarded to John E. Vanek on his low bid of $425.00, subject to an appeal being taken by the owner within the"next seven days. 1520 Western Avenue: A & J Demolition Company $523*00 Julius O'Neal 645.00 John E. Vanek 503.00 Bryant Excavating Co. 487.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract was awarded to Harvey R. Bryant on his low'bid of $487.00, subject to an appeal being taken by the owner within the next seven days. Contracts signed: 202 E. Paris Street. The owner of this.property having taken no appeal within seven days and no other demolition permit having been issued, contract awarded June 23, 1969 for the demolition of the property at 202 E. Paris Street, to A & J Demolition Company on its low bid of $375.00 is now formally signed by the Board. s. 2119 Bertrand Street.
