6/16/69- <br />Sub-Standard Property owners requested to appear before the Board June 30, 1969 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the re- <br />quest of the Sub -Standards Director for the following owners of sub -standard <br />properties to appear before the Board on June 30, 1969, tb show cause why the <br />following properties should not be demolished: <br />Rose and Ezra L. DAVIS, DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR, appeared before the Board and asked to be <br />heard, tendering the following papers, which were read and ordered filed: <br />Clipping from 5/19/69 issue of South Bend Tribune titled <br />"Wrong house ripped by demolition firm." <br />Contract dated 5/7/69 signed "C.J. Davis" and "Thelma Cathey" <br />to demolish the structure at 223 E. Paris Street for $237.00. <br />Penned notation dated 5/12/69 "Water permit #300, Demolition <br />permit #53494. 223 E. Keasey" <br />Letter dated 5/21/69 signed "Mrs. Julia Van Driessche" <br />Letter dated 5/26/69 signed "Mrs. Lloyd Boocher, 721 S. Columbia." <br />APPLICATIONS - FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />The following applications for appointment to the Fire Department were filed <br />with the Board and referred to the Personnel Director for further processing: <br />David C.
