6/9/69 <br />SIGNAL LIGHT AT WASHINGTON AND OLIVE C <br />City attorney having approved the agreement with Chicago, South Shore and <br />South Bend Railroad for the City to install, maintain and operate a traffic <br />signal and controller on South Shore's right of way at the southwest quadrant <br />of Washington and Olive Streets, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board, with the approval of the Mayor, executed the agreement as.of May 9, <br />1969, which agreement may be terminated upon 30 days written notice. <br />SEWER AND STREET PLANS FOR HIGHLAND ESTATES APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the plans for <br />street and sewer as submitted by the City Engineer for Highland Estates. <br />PETIT ION==FILLEDI FOR ALLEY VACATION - THOMAS L. LADD <br />Petition was filed by Thomas L. Ladd, 1214 Chimes Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, <br />and 55 o thers for the vacation of an alley from Pyle Avenue to Chimes Boulevard, <br />and, upon motion made, seconded and carried, was referred to the City Engineer <br />for drawings and for referral to Area Plan Commission for study and recommenda- <br />tion to the Board. <br />REQUEST TO BLOCK WAYNE STREET - CONFIRMED - <br />The request of Yeager Motor Company, Inc., 215 Lafayette Boulevard, South <br />Bend, Indiana, on June 2, 1969, for permission to block off West Wayne Street, <br />between Lafayette and Franklin Street, between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 A.M. <br />on June 5, 1969, during its presentation of 31 driver training cars to the <br />South Bend School City, approved ;by.,, the Board on June 3, 1969, is hereby <br />confirmed, and made of record. <br />"IN -KIND" RENT VOUCHERS - ACTION, INC. -- <br />"In-kind" contribution vouchers for rent during June, 1969, for Fire Station <br />#5 of the amount of $169.58 and for Station #7 of the amount of $200.00 <br />were ordered filed. <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3291, 1969 - CURTIS E.
