1154 <br />6/9/69 <br />1053 LaSalle Ct. Mr. Adamson reported this property is still in the same condition <br />as It was on May 12, 1969. He is keeping it under surveillance. <br />758 Lincolnway East. Mr. Adamson reported this propertyhas been boarded up'. <br />The matter was continued indefinitely. <br />2119 Bertrand. Mr. Adamson tendered a letter from the owner, Gladys Jackson, <br />in which she agreed to the demolition of the premises. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and unanimously carried, permission was granted to advertise for bids <br />for demolition of the premises. <br />7202 Columbia. This property was owned by the People's Church and has been conveyed <br />to the Tire Service Company and they are going to tear it down. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued 30 days to allow the new <br />owner an opportunity to demolish the building. <br />414 E. Pennsylvania St. Mr. Adamson stated this building is still open and <br />in a worse condition than on March 3, 1969. Mr. Adamson was directed to have <br />the owner Kapula and the contract buyer Hartman appear before the Board on <br />June 16, 1969. <br />This being the date set, bids were opened for demolition of the following <br />premises: Non collusion affidavit accompanying each bid was examined and found <br />to be sufficient. Vanek 482.00 <br />A & J Demolition Co. 337.00 <br />Julius O'Neal 582.00 <br />Uponzmotion made, seconded and carried, contract was awarded to Midwest <br />Demolition Company at $334.00, that being the lowest and best bid received, <br />subject to an appeal being taken by the owner within the next seven days. <br />205 N. Carlisle: A. Midwest Demolition & Wrecking Co. $585.00 <br />Julius O'Neal 485.00 <br />John E. Vanek 586.00 <br />Harvey R. Bryant 435.00 <br />A & J Demolition Company 423.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for demo-lition of the premises <br />was awarded to A & J Demolition Company at $423.00 as the low bidder, subject <br />to an appeal being taken by the owner within the next seven days. <br />1226 Western AvenueL John E.
