Cushing 2nd Addition. <br />Upon.motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board <br />adopted said assessment roll and set 10:00 A.M. on June 23, 1969, as <br />the date for hearing all persons interested in or affected by said <br />vacation. And the Clerk was directed to publish notice of such hear- <br />ing in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on May 30, June <br />6 and June 13, 1969. <br />MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM LEASE <br />Copy of Morris Civic Auditorium lease with Benjamin Franklin University <br />for "An Evening for Corvilla" May 16, 1969, at a rental of $400.00 was <br />ordered filed. <br />AGREEMENT FOR SIGNAL LIGHT - CHICAGO, SOUTH SHORE & SOUTH BEND RAILROAD <br />The Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad, Michigan City, <br />Indiana, by C. F. Mulrenan, Chief Engineer, submits proposed agreement <br />for the installation of controller, signal light pole and conduit <br />adjacent to and on railroad right of way of Chicago, South Shore and <br />South Bend Railroad for consideration of the City of South Bend as <br />licensee. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the <br />agreement was referred to the City Attorney for study and recommendation <br />to the Board. <br />REQUEST TO HOLD PARADE - ST. JOSEPH COUNTY MEMORIAL DAY SOCIETY <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the request of Richard P. Thomas, 1511 E. McKinley, South Bend, Indiana, <br />General Chairman, St. Joseph County Memorial Day Society, for the St. <br />Joseph County Memorial. Day Society to hold a parade at 2.00 P.M' on <br />May 30, 1969, upon the condition that evidence of proper insurance to <br />hold the City harmless is provided to the Board. <br />STREET SIGNS APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the installation of the following traffic regulations: <br />One hour time limit signs and posts in front of Paul's <br />Kreamo Bakery, 1910 Lincolnway West. <br />Stop sign on Twyckenham at Ridgedale. <br />PETITION FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS - PORTAGE AT RIBOURDE <br />Petition for traffic signals on Portage Avenue at Ribourde Drive bearing <br />some 450 signatures, including Mrs. Carolyn Glaser and Mrs. Joyce Chambers <br />was filed with the Board and, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously <br />carried, was referred to the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation. <br />PETITION FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL LIGHT - BENDIX DRIVE & ARDMORE TRAIL <br />Petition for a traffic signal light at the intersection of Bendix Drive <br />and Ardmore Trail was filed with the Board by Walter M. Szymk6wiak and <br />six others and, upon motion made, seconded and carried, was referred to <br />the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation. <br />
