5/26/69 <br />PORTAGE AVENUE RELIGHTING APPROVED - BRIDGE APPROACHES <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department., for the follow- <br />ing: <br />Replace one 4000 with 7000L MV <br />Install two 7000L MV <br />STREET LIGHTING.APPROVED - NOTRE DAME AVENUE <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the follow- <br />ing: <br />Replace 10 - 6000L INC with 10 - 21,000L MV <br />STREET LIGHTING SCOTT AND TAYLOR. WESTERN TO WAYNE - APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the follow- <br />ing: <br />Replace five 4000L with 7000L OH <br />Replace two 4000L UG with 7000L OH <br />Remove one 2500L OH with 7000L OH <br />PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - 529 S. 29th STREET <br />The petition of Mrs. Clara Ellwood for a street light at 529 S. 29th <br />Street was filed and, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, <br />was referred to the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation. <br />ADJUSTMENT APPROVED - TRAFFIC LIGHT BILLING <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department which, together with <br />I & M, conducted a survey of traffic lamp units and found an increase <br />of 179 units not added to the billing, making an increase of $102.925 <br />per month, for the addition of such units at the cost stated. <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTED <br />PRELIMINARY <br />PLANS APPROVED <br />NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />3284, <br />1969 - <br />VINE <br />STREET, <br />32ND TO <br />34TH <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />3285, <br />1969 - <br />VINE <br />STREET, <br />34TH TO <br />35TH <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />3286, <br />1969 - <br />VINE <br />STREET, <br />35TH TO <br />36TH <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />3287, <br />1969 - <br />PRAST <br />BLVD., <br />JOHNSON <br />TO HUEY <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />3288, <br />1969 - <br />CLYDE <br />STREET, <br />EWING TO ALTGELD <br />Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, filed with <br />the Board preliminary plans, estimates and preliminary resolution for the <br />improvement of the foregoing streets, by constructing a Class C pavement <br />with curb repair. <br />And the Board approves said plans and estimates, and adopts Resolutions for <br />the improvement of said streets, and fixes 7:30 P.M., on June 18, 1969, in <br />the Council Chambers, City Hall, as the time and place when and where all <br />persons whose property may be affected by such proposed improvements may be <br />heard, and the Board will decide at said time whether the benefits accruing <br />to abutting and adjacent property owners will be equal to or exceed the <br />estimated cost of said improvements. <br />And the Clerk of the Board is directed to give notice by two weekly publi- <br />cations of the time and place of said hearing. <br />
