5/26/69 <br />EAST -WEST ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS 235 AND 228 OF NORTHWEST <br />THIRD PLAT. Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot <br />235 of said Northwest Third Plat; thence easterly on <br />and along the south line of said Lot 235 a distance of <br />240 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of said <br />Lot 235; thence south a distance of 14 feet to the north- <br />east corner of Lot 228 of said Northwest Third Plat; <br />thence westerly on and along the north line of said Lot <br />228 a distance.of 240 feet, more or less, to the north- <br />west corner of -said Lot 228; thence north 14 feet to <br />the southwest corner of Lot 235 and the point of be- <br />ginning. <br />NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS 235 AND 236 AND 228 AND <br />227 OF NORTHWEST THIRD PLAT. Beginning at the northeast <br />corner of Lot 235 of said Northwest -Third Plat; thence <br />south on and along the east line of Lot 235 a distance <br />of 270 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of <br />Q Lot 228; thence east a distance of 14 feet to the south- <br />west corner of Lot 227 of said Northwest Third Plat; <br />thence north on and along the west line of Lot 227 and 236 <br />a distance of 270 feet, more or less, to the northwest <br />corner of said Lot 236; thence west 14 feet to the <br />northeast corner of Lot 235 and the point of beginning. <br />PART OF ROSE STREET BETWEEN LOTS 225 AND 228 OF NORTH- <br />WEST THIRD PLAT. Beginning at the southwest corner of <br />Lot 228; thence east a distance of 254 feet, more or less <br />to the southwest corner of Lot 227; thence south 60 feet <br />to the northwest corner of Lot 226; thence westerly a <br />distance of 254 feet, more or less, to the northwest <br />corner of Lot 225; thence north 60 feet to the southwest <br />corner of Lot 228 and the point of beginning. <br />All in the southeast Quarter, Section 35, Township 38 <br />North, Range 2 East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana. <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and <br />the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct <br />and maintain any facilities, including but not limited to <br />61ectric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water <br />control structures and ditches within the vacated right <br />of way unless such rights are released by the individual <br />utilities. <br />Total net damages $00.00 <br />Total net benefits $00.00 <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially <br />affected by such vacation: <br />Lots numbered 225, 226, 227, 228, 235 and 236 in the <br />Third Plat of Northwest Addition. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board adopted <br />said assessment roll and set 10:00 A.M. on June 23, 1969, as the date <br />for hearing all persons interested in or affected by said vacation. And <br />the Clerk was directed to publish notice of such hearing in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri County News on May 30, June 6 and June 13, 1969. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3281 - ROBERT H.
