5/12/69 <br />DE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, public auction <br />of said personal property was to be had April 7, 1969, <br />and at such time no satisfactory bid was received <br />for said equipment, and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board <br />of Public Works and Safety that said equipment is of <br />negligible monetary value,and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 186, Acts of 1967 of the <br />Indiana General Assembly permits the transfer of items <br />of personal property of less than $500.00 value without <br />advertising but subject to written authorization of <br />the Executive Authority of the Municipality, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board <br />of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend <br />that the following described equipment: <br />One Brown Fiberline Developing Sink <br />44" wide x 36" high x 100" long, <br />be transferred to the South Bend Art Association, Inc. <br />Adopted this 12th day of May, 1969 <br />THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />Lloyd S. Allen, Mayor <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND " <br />NT OF REDEVELOPMENT - <br />ON STREET DEDICATION <br />PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R- <br />Department of Redevelopment files with the Board a Resolution granting <br />street dedication for the north 30 feet of Washington Street between <br />the alley west of Dundee and the alley east of Bendix Drive, together <br />with survey and legal description of the area. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the matter was <br />referred to the Legal Department for the preparation of a Resolution <br />of acceptance for submission by the Board to the Department of Re- <br />development. <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT - LASALLE PARK PROJECT INDIANA R-57 <br />DEDICATION - CUL DE SACS <br />Department of Redevelopment files with the Board a Resolution dedicating <br />certain areas withrthe LaSalle Park Project, Indiana, R-57, for street <br />purposes, which areas are the semi -circles needed for the cul de sacs <br />on Bendix, Camden, Lake, Chicago and Kentucky Streets, located just <br />north of the first east -west alley north of Western Avenue, together <br />with engineering boundary survey of each area involved. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, th a matter was re- <br />ferred to the Legal Department for the preparation of a resolution of <br />acceptance for submission by the Board to the Department of Redevelopment. <br />COUNCILWOMAN.'.JANET ALLEN attended the meeting and brought up the follow- <br />ing matters: 1 Suggested the City property in the 700 block of N. <br />Niles Avenue, formerly used by the Street Department, needed to be cleaned <br />up. (2) Trucks are using the innerbelt in violation of the time set. <br />(3) Asks investigation regarding a flasher light at West Madison and <br />the innerbelt. City Engineer Lloyd S.
